Position Summary

The Data Entry Assistant supports various departments by ensuring accurate and timely entry of data into school systems and databases. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate records in databases and spreadsheets.

  • Review data for errors or inconsistencies and take steps to correct them.

  • Assist with data cleanup, audits, and verification processes.

  • Support the administrative team with organizing and digitizing physical files as needed.

  • Generate basic reports and summaries from collected data.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive student and school information.

  • Collaborate with team members to support special projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or some college preferred.

  • Prior experience in data entry or administrative support is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Google Workspace.

  • Strong typing skills with high accuracy and speed.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualities

  • Familiarity with school information systems (e.g., Blackbaud, FACTS, or similar platforms) is a plus.

  • Flexibility and willingness to assist in various administrative tasks as needed.

  • Positive attitude and commitment to Duchesne Academy’s mission and values.
