Job description

Duchesne Academy of The Sacred Heart is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support our administrative operations. This role involves accurately entering and managing data across various school systems to ensure records are current, complete, and compliant. The ideal candidate will bring precision, reliability, and a strong sense of confidentiality to this vital role in our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and update student, staff, and institutional data into internal databases and digital systems

  • Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness

  • Maintain organized and secure digital and paper filing systems

  • Assist in preparing reports, documents, and spreadsheets for internal use

  • Cross-reference data across departments to ensure consistency and reliability

  • Collaborate with staff to obtain missing or unclear information

  • Support school administrative functions as needed

  • Uphold confidentiality and data protection policies

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred

  • Prior experience in a data entry or clerical role

  • Strong typing skills with a high degree of accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Familiarity with school database systems (preferred but not required)
